Alibaba Cloud will provide core digital infrastructure for the Dakar 2026 Summer Youth Olympic Games, using the Apsara Stack private cloud to support event planning, operations, logistics, and post-Games services, while using AI and cloud technologies for a digital torch and interactive experiences. This will be the first Olympic sporting event held in Africa.

Apsara Stack private cloud is being used for a large international event in Senegal to balance security, scalability, and local event-operation needs; AI experiences such as the digital torch are customized for Africa's first Olympic event.
